Singer and songwriter Maarten Devoldere from Warhaus, also lead singer of the Belgian band Balthazar, brings his brand new album Ha Ha Heartbreak to the Festival de Wiltz. Struck by heartbreak, the new songs just burst out of Devoldere within a few weeks. All he needed was the loneliness of a hotel room, a guitar and a microphone – the sound, however, remains wonderfully light. It swings and glows with enticing strings, sensual background vocals, horns and playful piano parts. So, in the end, the new album Ha Ha Heartbreak produces a big winner: its listener. The evening will be opened by Englbrt, consisting of the exceptional Luxembourg artists Georges Goerens and Niels Engel. Kids With Buns describe themselves as a “bedroom indie pop project” – created by Belgian artists Marie Van Uytvanck and Amber Piddington.
